Denne filmen omhandler en dansk dysfunksjonell familie som vi opplever gjennom yngstesønnen, 11-årige Allans øyne. Til tross for selvmordsforsøk og ustabile voksne, skildres en sterk og handlekraftig gutt som bryter igjennom lojaliteten til familien, og særlig en mishandlende far.

The films deals with a Jutland family in the early 1970’s seen though the gaze of the youngest son in the family, 11 years old Allan. We follow his struggle to hold intact his bizarre family with its abusive father, mother in denial and rebellious sister.
